Clark, Audrey's frozen from the waist down.

Days like today, I want to pack up and move to Hawaii. Yesterday wasn't too bad because school was canceled, so I didn't have to brave the elements whatsoever. Except to shovel the front walk, but that was good exercise more than anything; but today, I had to go to class and go to work, in the midst of piles of dirty snow turned nice. Not so fun!

However, there was one really fun thing that made my day today - One True Media. You can go on this site, upload your pics, choose your song, and make your own video montage - totally free!! You can even make the montage into a DVD that you can order and purchase - what a great gift, especially if you've been in a friend's wedding, you can do this for her with the pictures you take at her wedding, and have it ready for her when she gets back from her honeymoon!

On another note, I recently just saw The Departed. I was really excited to see it because everyone I had spoken to who had seen it had great things to say about it. Plus, I really loved Goodfellas and Casino, and I was hoping for this movie to live up to the hype. I won't say that it sucked, but it was not nearly as good as I had hoped. Jack Nicholson's performance was typical old Jack - nothing special there from him. Damon and DiCaprio were both good, but not because the movie was good, but because they just take over a screen whenever they're on it. I'm usually a big fan of Mark Wahlberg (he'll always be Marky Mark to me...), but I have to admit that his performance here was utterly useless. In short, it did NOT have to be nearly three hours long (quasi-pun NOT intended); and after suffering through it, at least give me SOMETHING for my trouble besides an anti-climactic ending.
